Written by TheKorn It was the night after Christmas, although everyone really knows that's almost never the case (but it's how the story goes). So it WAS the night after Christmas, but no worries, we have no family bent, Korn was shooting terribly, and Wolffy just had to vent. "How do you repair these flipper mechs" asked the new crew member, Yancy B. A crowd gathered round to show the "tech", exactly what was necessary. About twenty unsupervised minutes later, and after many lively drinks, Yancy had rebuilt his first flipper And it was ready for test, he thinks. Off came the coil stop (and out fell the screws), then came off the flipper prawl, what's a guy to do? (cut) Korn dove for the master power, (cut) throwing all caution to the wind. (cut) not knowing whether to laugh or scour (cut) and wondering how badly Yancy had sinned. (cut) "You'll not be a pinball tech, (cut) at least, not yet" said Wolffy. (cut) "I guess we're both not so hot, (cut) if we can't teach you how to do this properly!" So the three dove back in, and made sure things were double-tight. And after everything was finished, the flipper worked just right. Meanwhile Rudy was running at the mouth, being his usual unruly self, sporting an attitude that went straight south, and started arguing with himself! (cut) Then the guests started to show, (cut) but most had yet to arrive. (cut) A few of them had to know, (cut) what happened to the HUO Alive? (cut) Aron Boag was first in line, (cut) Black Rose being his favorite. (cut) It even managed to displace Champion Pub, (cut) and he couldn't get enough of it. Rick Swanson showed up three hours late, noted that Christmas had been quite a chore. It seems as though little Ricky, had another game jammed under a door. Lloyd Olsen fills a void, but couldn't attend the party, seems old Brad had superimposed Lloyd, onto someone else's body! (cut) Eric A walked in the door, (cut) accompanied by the omipresent Eric D. (cut) Turns out Eric had torched his hair, (cut) and was lit like a Christmas tree! (cut) Cliffy showed his noble face, (cut) a load of protectors in tow. (cut) he covered all the holes, (cut) for the big pinball show. Then in one small instant, the entire place was dark as night, (cut) it seems that Wolffy (cut) had cranked up the Black Knight! (cut) As the lights went out, (cut) Wolffy screamed with fright, "I've blown the damn fuse turning on Korn's Black Knight!" But the players played on, pushing the high scores out of sight, and even though there was no electricity, they played woodrails on through the night.
